We encourage you to visit the Government of Canada’s new web page Coronavirus disease (COVID-19): Resources for Canadian businesses. This site provides Canadian businesses with a one-stop-shop for the resources they need to make informed decisions while navigating the challenges of COVID-19.

Some of the programs available include:

Our friends at The Leduc and Wetaskiwin Chamber of Commerce have also created a website with some valuable tools and resources for businesses.

JEDI’s municipal partners, the County of Wetaskiwin and Town of Millet are doing their best to keep their residents up to date and informed please visit their web sites www.county.wetaskiwin.ab.ca & www.millet.ca for the most recent updates regarding your municipality. It is important to note that at this time both municipal offices are closed to the public, however, they are still working as normal to provide the essential services their residents are accustomed to.

We understand that this can be stressful and overwhelming situation. Fear and anxiety about a disease can cause strong emotions. Coping with stress will make you, the people you care about, and your community stronger. The following resources could be useful to you or someone you know:

• Alberta Health Services “Help in Tough Times” which provides various phone numbers and online resources.

• Anxiety Canada: What to do if you’re anxious or worried about coronavirus (COVID-19)

Despite JEDI’s office being closed to the public we are still available via e-mail to assist you with your business needs so please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Wishing you good health and economic stability.
