JEDI’s Business Retention & Expansion Survey (BR&E)

Attention JEDI Region Business Owners/Operators

As a municipal partnership between the County of Wetaskiwin and the Town of Millet, the Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI) endeavours to facilitate successful business retention and expansion in our region. JEDI understands that 2020 has been a very trying year for businesses and staff, however, the JEDI region is home to many resourceful and resilient entrepreneurs, as well as residents who want to support their local businesses. We hope that your business is moving forward in a positive fashion during these unprecedented times. Now more than ever, it is important to support our local businesses in any means that we can.

In order to assess the current status of our businesses and identify where JEDI can provide support and resources, we would appreciate your participation in our regional Business Retention and Expansion Survey.

We had plans to visit local businesses in person to conduct the survey this summer, however, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the in person visits were put on hold. In the meantime, we request your assistance in completing a short 5-minute JEDI BR&E Survey at your convenience. Your participation in this survey would be greatly appreciated and would provide us with a useful resource to assess the needs of JEDI regional businesses.

Thank you for the services you provide our local residents and visitors, JEDI businesses form an integral part of our community and make the JEDI Region a great place to live, work and play! We hope that you will assist us in evaluating the business climate and needs in our region. If there are some questions that are not applicable or you are not comfortable answering, you are able to skip questions and move on to the next. Any information you can provide is appreciated.

A general compilation of the results of the survey will maintain the anonymity of the participants.
